The Local Government Board has recently approved to support technically and financially the realization of youth revitalization activities within the framework of the "Aula Konect @" project, for which the amount of 500 euros has been allocated to defray the derived expenses that are carried out in the framework of this project during the year 2020.The Youth Council will provide technical support and monitor the activities that are carried out and are within its competence, as well as their spending.
The monitoring of the activities will be carried out through a commission formed, which will meet at least once a month.The project "Aula Konect @" promoted by the Local Police arose from the growing concern that the group of minors in Totana aroused and the problems generated as a result of the lack of alternatives for leisure and free time.It started as a pilot in April 2018 with the aim of creating a space for fluid and operational communication between the Local Police and minors in order to promote the transmission of values ??and healthy and civic behaviors.The project advocates redirecting, through the creation of bonds of trust and motivational incentives, the consequences of an offense, and that it be resolved in a way that benefits both the community and the affected minor himself in his future development in adulthood.
