A road maintenance and snow plow brigade from the Ministry of Public Works will carry out disinfection work in the most sensitive areas of the urban area of ??Totana, El Paretón-Cantareros and Lébor, with the help of volunteers from Civil Protection, Local Police and workers from the Municipal Warehouse.The work will be carried out thanks to the efforts made by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, with the Government delegate, José Vélez, during the past weekend.The Government Delegation is going to give the heaviest machinery to carry out these works in numerous streets of the urban area and districts, supported by the municipal technicians of the Department of Services to the City.
Similar works were already carried out on April 21.The device will consist of trucks with different capacities and sweepers; while the City Council will provide the disinfectant products (bleach) collected in the Municipal Warehouse since the beginning of the crisis, donated by various groups, companies and organizations.In Totana, the main communication arteries will be disinfected, the Municipal Cemetery "Nuestra Seńora del Carmen, the residence for the elderly, security and emergency centers, supermarkets, health centers, pharmacies and public spaces that are most commonly visited by citizens, among others.Other vehicles will disinfect the main arteries and mobility areas in the districts of El Paretón and Lébor, respectively.The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, has reiterated his gratitude to the recent request made to the Government delegate in Murcia, as well as to the maintenance company of the A-7 highway, for their disposition with the Totana City Council in carrying out these tasks as important.
