The Board of Spokespersons of the City Council met yesterday afternoon and, among other matters, agreed to constitute this coming Monday, August 3 (11:00 am), the Municipal Monitoring Commission of COVID-19 in Totana in order to carry out follow-up, step by step, of the evolution of the pandemic in this municipality and coordinate decisions and agreed joint actions.In addition, the meeting served for the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, to inform the spokesmen of the efforts that have been made with the representatives of the different Public Administrations, basically the Ministry of Health and the Government Delegation, after the announcement of the return of this municipality to phase 1 due to the regrowth registered two weeks ago in a nightclub in this town.This commission will be made up of representatives of all municipal political groups; coordinators of the two Health Centers as well as the Nursing Centers; responsible for the Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection; and technicians from the Municipal Center for Social Services.
