The spokesperson for the Municipal Group VOX in the Totana City Council, María Dolores García Martínez, formally presented her resignation from the councilman's report for "own and health issues" late yesterday.García Martínez joined public activity in this legislature after VOX was presented, for the first time, to the municipal elections in Totana, obtaining two councilors in the municipal Corporation.The former councilor led the VOX candidacy and managed to form a municipal group with the mayor Javier Clemente Sánchez Mulero.
María Dolores García Martínez, 36 years old, is single and technician in a chemical industry.The Municipal VOX Group must now designate a person to replace the outgoing mayor for the remainder of the legislature.
The following in the candidacy and possible substitutes are: Adrián Valenzuela Esparza, José María Campos Cánovas, Rosa Giménez Collazos, Miguel Ángel Martínez del Vas, Ginés Hernández Serrano and Rafael Atanasio Álvarez Crespo, among others.In this legislature, he already left his act as councilor Andrés García Cánovas, -August 2019-, former mayor of Totana; who was replaced in the Municipal Corporation by Pedro Antonio Megal Ruiz.Currently, the totanera municipal Corporation is made up of 6 councilors Ganar Totana-IU, 6 PP, 5 PSOE, 2 VOX and 2 Mixed Group (1 Now Totana Platform and 1 Citizens).
