| To continue working positively for the recovery of Totana | The Socialist Group of Totana in its last meeting held with the Mayor, last Wednesday, was interested in the results of the tests recently carried out in the municipal residence, by the status of the dining scholarships received by students in vulnerable situations, the measures being taken to control quarantined people and the actions the City Council intends to carry out for the regeneration of the municipality.The socialist councilors have prepared a document with a series of measures that has been conveyed to the Mayor in the meetings held in recent weeks.These short and medium term measures cover the different sectors of society in Totanera, such as Education, Culture, Commerce, Hospitality, Social Services, Health, Employment, cleaning and disinfection of streets and municipal facilities, and the Economy.Among them, we can highlight: the coordinated distribution to all homes of a lot with masks and gloves, the creation of a fund of volunteers, including psychology professionals, provision of WIFI connection networks that ensure students continue their education , the preparation of a rest area for transporters and truckers and the preparation of a promotion campaign to promote hospitality and local commerce.The GMS extended its hand to the Government Team to work together and agree on the economic and social measures that benefit the sectors most affected by the COVID-19 Crisis, especially those aimed at not collecting or returning public rates and prices for services.
