Today is Easter Sunday and the Brotherhood of the Risen Jesus dresses in his best clothes to celebrate the Lord's resurrection.
Unmistakable are the gold, blue and pink robes that carry the images of the Risen Jesus, The Virgin of Joy and the triumphant Angel on their shoulders.
Between cheers and clapping, our people celebrate the meeting between these three steps that will process through the streets of Totana to the rhythm of the marches performed by the Santa Maria Cleofe band of bugles and drums, the Totana musical group and the drum and bugle band of our dear Brotherhood of Jesus at Calvary and Holy Supper.
Thank the Brotherhood of Jesus Risen Totana for their invitation to be part of this wonderful procession.
To do this, our band performs the “Hallelujah” march from their homes, adapted by our colleague Pedro Miguel Gimnez (2019), which, released in post-production, reaches your ears to transmit a message of hope and gratitude.
From the Brotherhood of Jesus at Calvary and Santa Cena, we want to thank all the people who make our Easter possible, the group of Brotherhoods and the Superior Cabildo of Processions, civil and religious authorities, and ultimately the people of Totana.
This has been a different Easter, but thanks to those who continue to care for us, we will once again enjoy our traditions.
This Hallelujah is dedicated especially to our health workers, State security forces, caregivers, shopkeepers, transport professionals, cashiers and replenishers, and a long list of people who work for our health and well-being and for us to live our lives fully again. lives in the fastest, most dignified and safest way.
With all my heart, THANK YOU.
