The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, has issued a municipal Branch in which the opening conditions of the commercial establishments authorized for the sale of essential services or goods are reported during the main days of Easter.
In this way, and in conclusion, Holy Thursday is set as an opening holiday, so that those who meet the requirements set by the government authorities can open under the established conditions: it is normal for it to be open until noon, although some company already decided to close given the special circumstances.
In addition, Good Friday and Easter Sunday are holidays;
while Glory Saturday is a working day, for the purposes of the commercial calendar, and the hours of a normal Saturday are set within the restrictions established by the rule during the state of alarm.
In this way, the municipal side of the mayoralty of March 21 is null and void, allowing it to open on Sundays and holidays that before this date were allowed to open, with a surface area of ​​less than 300 square meters.
It is recalled that the essential goods establishments that can open exclusively are the food supply, pharmacies, take-out meals, new technologies, veterinary and animal feed, and basically gas stations.
In all cases, the measures and instructions indicated by the health authorities to prevent the spread of COVID-19 must be maintained;
and the closing of said establishments at 19:00 is recommended.
Consumers are urged to make purchases as they have been done in recent weeks, avoiding crowds and concentration of people and the collection of food.
Failure to comply with the closing or schedule will be sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, which declares the state of alarm.
