It has carried out an action at the request of the health authorities and has drawn up a new act of cessation of activity during Holy Monday and Holy Tuesday
The Local Police of Totana has intensified controls on public roads, coinciding with the start of Easter, identifying more than 600 people in the last 48 hours;
at the same time that it has intercepted 10 more vehicles for circulating without permission.
During Holy Monday and Holy Tuesday there have been no arrests for acts of disobedience or resistance;
but a new act of cessation of activity has been drawn up in the municipality.
Similarly, a police action has been carried out at the request of the health authorities;
and 23 sanctions have been filed for infractions of Organic Law 4/2015 on Protection of Citizen Security.
The Local Police have further tightened the controls for Easter to prevent displacement to second homes and to enforce the measures decreed after the establishment of the stoppage of economic activity except for essential services.
It is recalled that all non-essential economic activity must be stopped, at least, during the remaining weeks of the alarm state.
The Totana City Council insists on the need to enforce all the recommendations imposed by the authorities, but above all to understand home confinement as the best tool to combat the contagion curve and face the pandemic.
The obedience of the restrictive measures to citizens, businessmen and workers avoids more threats to the members of the Corps and Security Forces and Local Police, who are the maximum guarantors of our security and protection in these difficult weeks.
