The Reina Sofía School participated last Thursday, March 5, in Cartagena, in the Regional Final of Playing Athletics Benjamin of School Sports, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, both in male and female modality.
Throughout the morning, the participating schoolchildren had the opportunity to participate in various events such as ball toss, sprinting, soft javelin throw, side jump, long jump and relay races.
The men's team finished in 21st place, and consisted of Harum Napoleón García González, Andrés García Sánchez, Pedro Javier Legaz Martínez, Darío Martínez Merlos and Cesar Tejedor Reverte;
while the women's team finished in 18th place, and included Elena Aledo Murcia, Aitana González Cánovas, Esmeralda María Martínez López, Sandra Gómez Cánovas and Isabel Sánchez Gómez.
