A total of 30 unemployed people initiate two occupational training actions in the municipalities of Totana and Alhama de Murcia, to promote the labor insertion of people in situations of social vulnerability.
The Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" has started, in recent weeks, two training courses for the participants of the Labor Project, a step towards employability.
A total of 30 unemployed and socially vulnerable people have benefited from these training actions.
The training that has begun in the municipality of Totana has been the Course of Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers, in which 15 people are participating.
The main objective and purpose of this training action is to provide participants with the knowledge to carry out auxiliary operations for the production and maintenance of plants, in nurseries and garden centers and auxiliary operations for the maintenance of gardens, parks and green areas.
Also, the training of the Course of Sociosanitary Attention to Dependent People has begun in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia, in which 15 people are participating.
The main objective and purpose of this training action is to equip the participating people to care for dependent people in the socio-health field in the institution or home, to maintain and improve their personal autonomy and their relationships with the environment.
As well as helping people with physical, mental and social health needs in the social and health field.
The two courses mentioned above are framed within the training actions developed by the "WORK: A step towards employability" Project.
This initiative is co-financed by the Murciano Institute of Social Action in 20% and by the European Social Fund in 80%.
The aim of this project is to inform, train and guide unemployed people, and those at risk of social exclusion, on aspects related to access to the world of work.
This initiative aims to support the process of labor insertion of those people who actively seek a change in their unemployment situation and encounter special difficulties in achieving it.
