It has been a very cordial meeting with quite positive results.
The Commonwealth commitment to dort the Santa Complex and the La Sierra County Council with the Water of the Taibilla through the Deposit located in the upper area of ​​Montysol that will be launched during this year.
This work, approved by the Plenary of the Corporation in January, will entail considerable savings in the current situation and water bill, as well as an optimization of the networks within the framework of the Adjustment and Savings Plans.
To be very happy with this reality in the improvement of a service as important as drinking water in that part of our municipality.
But not only that.
We have verified the progress in the construction project of the new reversible channel from the Partidor de Lorca in the Lentiscosa to the Coronadas deposit at the vertices of Fuente Ãlamo and Mazarrón.
A work that will mean the improvement for decades of supply in the Pedanías de Paretón Cantareros, Raiguero, La Ñorica and the "El Saladar" Industrial Estate.
The most significant is the transfer of the "Casa del Guarda" in Cordones, at the end of Tira del Lienzo, which today becomes the City Council in a free transfer to expand our endowment of heritage and services.
A house and space in another strategic point for its environmental value, typology and construction materials and its location in the foothills of Sierra Espuña, in front of the Archaeological Site of the Strip of the Canvas, the Sports City and on the road of roads of Mancomunidad of Channels of the Taibilla that cross the territory of Totana from Sierra Espuña, through the Guadalentín Valley, on the road to Cartagena.
On the way back, I commented to Pedro José my joy because there have been many years that he had been after this House was ceded to the Town of Totana and his possibilities to boost sectors of young people, hikers and groups that have an illusion to give it the value it has Community service.
There are many initiatives, from the time of the opposition and the Government, negotiations, bureaucratic stumbling blocks ... But in the end, we achieved this objective to look forward to the future and with a zero cost for the municipal coffers that we will explain in the coming days.
It is also a pride that the Entity of Mancomunidad de Canales del Taibilla, recognized by international entities, values ​​the City of Totana and appreciates our seriousness in eliminating the millionaire debt found in 2015, for that absurd principle of "we do not pay the Taibilla and with that, we can pay the payroll ... "
