The Plenary Session of the City Council of Totana will address, in its ordinary session corresponding to the month of February, which will take place this Thursday, February 27, starting at 7:00 p.m., a total of 21 points on the agenda, including, the final approval of the municipal ordinance regulating street or non-sedentary sales in the municipality of Totana.
In addition, the joint motion of adhesion of the City Council to the Institutional Declaration of the World Rare Disease Day 2020, promoted by the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (ERDF), will be discussed.
The joint motion of the municipal groups for the commemoration of March 8, International Women's Day will also be discussed.
The agenda includes the proposal of the Mayor's Office to modify the tax ordinance regulating the fee for carrying out the administrative activity of immobilization and withdrawal of unduly parked vehicles, and for the provision of the vehicle deposit service (crane).
Likewise, the proposal of the Mayor's Office for the lifting of the suspension of deferrals of the actions regarding the Tax on the Increase of the Value of the Urban Nature Lands agreed in full will be addressed.
Another motion of the Mayor's Office, to be discussed, refers to the request to the Mancomunidad de Canales del Taibilla to provide water to the Sanctuary of La Santa and the deputation of La Sierra before the imminent start-up of the water supply and the reservoir that will supply Aledo.
Motions political groups
The Municipal Group Win Totana-IU has raised a motion to urge the Government of the Nation to approve a law that regulates fair prices for agricultural products.
In addition, the Popular Group has presented several motions to request the Ministry of the Environment to execute the Pilgrim's Path from the urbanization "La Charca" to the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia;
and another to urge the Government of the Nation to establish a sustainable and equal price of desalinated water.
The PP has also raised three other motions to take measures on the plastics, cardboard and garbage generated after the celebration of the Weekly Market;
improve the existing marquees and in relation to the lease contract of the hotel and rural houses of La Santa, as well as on compliance with it.
The Socialist Municipal Group has also raised several motions to urge the regional government to expand public places in homes for the elderly at the regional level, and particularly in Totana;
on the regulation of the use of plastic cups in leisure or commercial and festive activities;
and for the installation of an over-elevated pedestrian crossing in the RMU-505 (north ring road) at the height of the Tira del Lienzo road (Sports City) and another at the municipal sports center.
Likewise, the PSOE has presented two more motions demanding that the regional government that the investment per neighbor in Totana be, by 2020, similar to that of the rest of the citizens of the Region;
and about the recognition of the painter Josefa Martínez Aledo.
The Civil Platform "Now Totana" has raised a motion to request to the SEF the hiring of workers for forest cleaning of the Sierra Espuña regional park through the Regional Employment Councils of the year 2020;
and another about the acquisition of a pruning and stubble crushing machine.
Finally, the agenda includes the motion of C's regarding the non-payment of the Autonomous Communities of the part that corresponds to them in the collection of the Value Added Tax of the last month of 2017.
