The Community of Irrigators of Totana that commemorated in the municipality of Totana its forty anniversary and of the Tajo Segura Transfer wanted this celebration to have a solidary character.
The activities scheduled on October 19 and 20 in the Plaza de la Constitución of Totana and the Sanctuary of La Santa, respectively, were for the benefit of the International Association of Relatives and People with Lipodystrophies (AELIP) and the Association of Rare Diseases D ´Genes.
The president of AELIP wants to congratulate the Community of Irrigators of Totana for the anniversary and thanked her for having thought that this celebration is also a solidarity event that has served to raise 1984 euros that AELIP will allocate to continue helping people and families that coexist with an infrequent lipodystrophy while contributing to give visibility to them.
