The Local Government Board has recently approved the collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the City Council of Totana to teach in this municipality of Special Regime Language Teaching, that is, the extension of the Official Language School of Lorca.
In this regard, the Minister of Education, María Esperanza Moreno Reventós, and the mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas Cánovas, will shortly sign the collaboration agreement for the maintenance of the service.
This agreement has a term of four years, and may be extended, with the express agreement of the parties, during the term agreed upon at the time of the extension.
On July 5, 2005, both entities signed a collaboration agreement for the implementation and operation of our Special Regime Language Teaching municipality;
and recently the General Directorate of Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity has requested compliance with the text of the new agreement that guarantees the maintenance of the Extension of the Official School of Languages ​​in Totana.
Within the framework of this agreement, the City of Totana undertakes to provide the necessary administrative staff to intermediate between students and the Official School of Languages ​​of Lorca and to attend all those procedures related to information, delivery and collection of documentation for registration , certificate requests, pre-registration, etc.
The Consistory totanero will determine the place of its dependencies in which this service will be provided, and will cover the current expenses (electricity, telephone, cleaning, etc.) that are caused by the operation of the said extension, which will be located in the dependencies of the HE Juan de la Cierva, San Antonio Street, 84.
The headquarters of the Official School of Languages ​​of Totana is subject to the provisions of the legislation on specialized language centers and teachings of the Region of Murcia, which establishes the arrangement of special regime language teaching in the Region Murcia and the curricula corresponding to the basic levels A1, basic A2, intermediate B1, intermediate B2, advanced C1 and advanced C2.
