The Disability Day Centers of Totana celebrated today the II Adapted Carnival of Totana, which involved the community of both public services, an act that this year has been organized with great enthusiasm and gratitude after being awarded the Golden Mask of Carnival 2020.
The users were dressed in costumes and accessories made in the workshops of the centers, thanks to the work of all professionals and the students themselves.
From both centers they wanted to thank the Federation of Totana Carnival Clubs for the love shown to all users on this special day.
This year the activity has had the participation of other guest day centers of the region, in this case, those of Mazarrón, Apandis, Las Salinas, Afemto and the Psychosocial Support Service of Alhama de Murcia;
as well as with the participation and collaboration of the educational centers Tierno Galván, Comarcal-Deitania, Reina Sofía and La Cruz.
Once again, the tour was the same as the first edition through the streets near the Day Centers, in the Tirol Camilleri neighborhood, and ended in the inner courtyard with performances and delivery of details to the different participating centers.
During the activity the Councilors for Culture and Dependency, Verónica Carricondo and Javier Baños, the president of the Carnival Peñas Federation, Rocío Tudela, and collaborators of the Federation as well as professionals and teachers of the educational communities of the centers have gathered involved
