The Department of Works and Services is undertaking during this week the renovation of the firm of several sections of the N-340 road in the municipality of Totana, whose allocation budget amounts to 34,555.90 euros.
The actions will be undertaken on an approximate surface of 3,000 square meters and consist of milling of the damaged firm layer with a thickness of five centimeters for its elimination, adhesion irrigation with asphalt emulsion, including preparation and surface sweeping and rolling layer Bituminous hot mix.
In addition, the corresponding repainting of the horizntal signaling will proceed.
The works are being undertaken by the mercantile "Construcciones Sangonera, SA" after they were awarded last summer after a bidding process to which a total of nine construction companies were presented, being the tenderer who presented the most economically advantageous offer.
Basically, it is the repair of the road sign that connects Totana and Alhama de Murcia, in different sections, due to the state of deterioration of the road sign in the section corresponding to the municipality of Totana.
This work is co-financed through a direct grant from the General Directorate of Local Administration included in the Municipal Competition Works and Services Cooperation (POS) Plan corresponding to the 2018/2019 annuities.
