The Plenary Session of the City Council of Totana agreed, in its last session and unanimously, the conduct of a study that assesses the regulation of traffic at the intersection between the Camino de los Huertos Nuevos and the N-340 at the height of the Hyper Macfour with in order to provide this point with greater safety and fluidity for traffic.
This initiative, promoted by the Popular Municipal Group, reflects that this point of the urban area has become a dangerous point for road traffic and many are the neighbors who have to access from the Camino de los Huertos Nuevos to join the N- 340.
This access entails a certain danger due to the existence of the car park located in the esplanade located in front of the hypermarket, where there is a situation of lack of visibility for the incorporation to the road.
Currently, the circulation at that point is regulated by vertical and horizontal signaling, but according to the problems that are being caused and the complaints by the drivers that transit the area, it is estimated that said regulation is not the safest or most sufficient for that point in question.
