Juan Pagán holds a meeting with the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment to raise proposals on Totana, discuss pending issues and propose new concerns.
In the afternoon of this Monday, the Counselor Antonio Luengo, received Juan Pagán at the Ministry of Agriculture to collect from the hand of the PP spokesman the needs that he raised for Totana, he was also accompanied by the Regional Deputy Isabel María Sánchez Ruiz.
Different topics were discussed within the meeting;
from the importance of the water for the municipality and its agriculture, arrangement of roads, as well as the state of the construction of pending reservoirs and the tenders of the roads that the council will fix this year.
One of the proposals that Juan Pagán made to the Councilor and that is of utmost importance for tourism and sports in Totana is the construction of a pilgrimage path from the town to the Santa, in order to protect the multitude of pilgrims from traffic that weekends go up with devotion to the Sanctuary and visit Santa Eulalia, in addition to the walkers who make this route.
Pagán told the Councilor the need to carry out this initiative since it is a historical demand of the municipality and we must work to comply with them.
He said that he had raised that request for the plenary session next February and that he expects it to be attended with a good attitude by the Ministry.
