The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia has recently granted the City of Totana, under the LEADER project, a grant of 36,789.91 euros, aimed at the implementation of the works of reform and improvement of the equipment of the public services in the place of La Santa.
This action is contemplated within sub-measure 19.2 contained in the 2014-2020 Participatory Local Development strategy "Integral, Society for Rural Development", within the M5 helpline, "Near you: Aid to improve the services and the quality of life in rural areas ".
In the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia we find several types of tourism or tourist profiles of users, such as religious tourism, active tourism with several sports events organized annually in the area of La Santa and its surroundings, leisure and leisure tourism;
which turns the sanctuary and its environment into a space used daily by a large number of users who need the maximum number of tourist services to meet their demand.
The City Council of Totana was interested, for a long time, in reforming and improving the equipment of public services located in the place of Santa in order to meet the maximum number of tourist services and the existing demand of users and visitors.
The Consistory totanero will shortly begin the contracting procedure for the execution of these actions to improve these services under these European grants granted and managed by the Autonomous Community.
