The Municipal Council for Social Inclusion of the City Council of Totana met last Thursday, January 16 with the objective of addressing the situation of sexual abuse and violence to women and adolescents in this municipality, in whose meeting the Councilor for Social Welfare was present and Equality, Javier Baños.
In addition, it was attended by technicians from the City of Totana (CAVI, Area of ​​Elderly and Center for Social Services of Primary Care), Health Centers, Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil", Employment and Training Service (SEF), Murcia It hosts, Caritas Tres Avemarías and Santiago and Cruz Roja.
Similarly, representatives from other specialized resources such as CAVAX, Oblates, EOEP, Secondary Education Centers, Local Police and the Youth area of ​​the City of Totana.
The session began with the sharing of the concrete actions that are being carried out by the different agents involved, going on to analyze the existing resources in order to implement prevention and intervention actions.
Given the importance of the different realities detected, work will continue through the creation of a specialized operating group that is part of the Municipal Council for Social Inclusion of the City of Totana.
