On the morning of Sunday, January 19, one of the most anticipated half marathons of the season took place, the one held in the Alicante town of Santa Pola, where 4308 athletes crossed the finish line.
At 10:30 a.m., this traditional test began that stands out for both joining public, animation and beautiful views, and leaving a unique exit in which the last athlete crosses the starting line five minutes later than the first.
This year the CAT was represented by Borja Martínez, who premiered in the Half Marathon modality in Asphalt.
Borja performed the test in a time of 1 hour and 53 minutes, entering position 2560 of the general and 500 of the Senior category.
Borja went through the control of 5km in 29 minutes and 35 seconds, he traveled the first 10K in 57 minutes and 48 seconds and the 15k in 1 hour and 23 minutes.
