The motion presented by the Municipal Socialist Group for the study and adaptation of the Ground Floor of the Munuera and Abadía Study Room to convert it into a place of participation and meeting, Exhibition and Conference Hall for Associations that act in the field of youth, the culture and volunteering, and that initially stayed on the table, was unanimously approved in the last Plenary of December.
The proposal is to adapt the bass zone of the current José Munuera and Abadía Study Room, in a completely diaphanous room where exhibitions can be held, as well as conferences, talks and activities aimed at the youth of the municipality.
The creation of resources for our young people where they can carry out healthy leisure activities, in different fields of culture and youth creation: music, performing arts, photography, visual arts, audiovisual, comic, design ... In this way we can promote the use of creative and educational leisure, using leisure time as a fun and, at the same time, formative period in values ​​and healthy activities.
These municipal facilities would be managed by municipal technicians being available to different groups and associations interested in carrying out activities at this site, within an annual schedule.
From the Municipal Socialist Group we bet on our young people and in the absence of resources for ages between 12 and 18, we consider it a government responsibility to offer leisure alternatives.
