The renovation works of the section of sanitation and supply network of the San Ramón street of this town have finished this week after they have been extended for almost two months, which have had a budget of allocation of 35,953.79 euros that finances entirely the Consistory totanero, according to sources of the Department of Works and Services, so it remains open to traffic.
The Local Government Board agreed to award the contract at the end of last May to the company "Instalaciones Hergasa 2006, SL", which has undertaken these actions;
whose tender for this contract, through a simplified open procedure, had presented a total of 14 construction companies.
These works have been undertaken due to the poor state of the current network, both drinking water and sanitation, assuming the rupture of these a serious problem for the neighbors and even the cut of a basic service such as drinking water, as recalled by the municipal officials.
These, which were a historical claim of the residents of the area, have consisted of the disassembly and relocation of the cobblestone (258 square meters) and the recess of the street to repair the subsidence of the road.
In addition, the potable water network has been renovated, the installation of potable water connections to homes replacing existing ones and the drainage system, as well as the renovation of the sewerage network.
