A personal favourite of many English clients, Trasiego is a wonderfully shabby chic restaurant and bar which comes alive every evening for dining experiences that simply have to be tried. Be warned, this is not a place for a quiet romantic dinner, especially on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening, but it is a fun, happening and interactive experience that is as addictive as the menu.

The staff are friendly and need little persuasion to practice their English and will happily supply a variety of dishes to let you try the menu a little more widely than merely ordering a starter and main. In fact, this is probably the perfect way to negotiate the menu and be assured that you will leave the restaurant neither bloated nor hungry and with a surprisingly reasonably priced meal behind you.

The toilet doors need no explanation and are always a talking point for first-timers. Lunches are fantastic and are never rushed affairs. Large groups are the norm here and are catered for with ease and the staff are understanding to intolerances and allergies. A must try.
