The Popular Municipal Group again requests in November the start-up of the operation of the bar-cafeteria service of the Municipal Park.
On January 17, 2017, the Contract for the Operation of the Bar-Cafeteria Service of the Municipal Park was signed, after its awarding and due to the problems that occurred, this contract was terminated, not being carried out and the EXPLOITATION OF THE BAR-CAFETERIA SERVICE OF THE MUNICIPAL PARK was forgotten in the previous legislature, without the Mayor giving any kind of explanation and now we have not seen any movement so that this contract can be awarded immediately.
These are facilities located in the municipal park and that surely could be giving an optimal service to the residents of Totana, but in the end it is another installation closed to lime and song with the consequent damage for being as already stated in its day a place of reference and leisure for citizens, in addition to the abandonment and deterioration that is caused in an establishment of these characteristics closed, without knowing also what steps are being made, if any, and without knowing which It is the date set for the opening of the same, so this Municipal Group will urge the Government Team to re-tender said contract in order to provide a service to the residents of Totana.
On the other hand and after the last actions carried out by the Municipal Government without counting on the opposition or either, and resulting in the most serious, with the neighbors affected by the change of direction of the streets and pedestrianization of others, we see in the obligation to request a commission to study the possible changes to be made, as well as to previously have the reports of the relevant technicians and police before making any changes, a fact that in the case that we have previously marked has not been so, since that decisions have been made without prior reports.
The arrangement of roads and streets of the municipality, is another of the requests submitted by the Popular Group, since we see how the deterioration they suffer is high and we must put a solution before it is too late, solve problems of potholes and signaling on roads and streets it is necessary to improve the quality of life of neighbors.
Finally, the Popular Party is in favor, as stated in the Constitution, of freedom of education, which is why we will defend during the celebration of this plenary session among other issues within this area that the Government of Spain ensure that parents, as first responsible for the education of their children, choose the type of education and the educational center where their children are educated.
