Last Sunday, November 24, the 7th Annual AELIP Awards Gala was held in Totana in which approximately 400 people participated.
This gala met the objective of recognizing and rewarding all people, entities, companies, foundations, and educational centers among others, who annually collaborate with AELIP giving visibility to infrequent Lipodystrophies, supporting research and contributing to maintaining the portfolio of services that the association implements to improve the quality of life of people and families living with a Lipodystrophy anywhere in the world.
In it, numerous authorities met who did not want to miss the opportunity to accompany and clothe the entity in one of the most important activities of the year.
The gala was attended by Ms. Isabel Franco Vice President of the autonomous community of the region of Murcia and counselor for women, equality, LGTBI, families and social policy of the autonomous community of the region of Murcia.

On the other hand and as usual, this annual awards gala featured a musical performance enlivened by the local singer "Felix" and a children's fashion show in which about 30 children were able to parade with children's and youth clothes that will be a trend in 2020.
The gala reached its most emotional point when the singer and artist from Murcia Doña Victoria Cava, after collecting the award in the "Solidarity" category surprised all attendees with a song dedicated to Celia Carrión Pérez de Tudela who died due to a lipodystrophy in the year 2012.
The color note was put by the solidarity dolls of the Peña Barcelonista de Totana, who did not want to miss the appointment delighting the more than 50 children who participated in the gala.
