The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana has received a grant from the Autonomous Community for a total amount of 60,442.85 euros for the realization of three social projects to support the Family and Children, under the help line of the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy to Municipalities and Social Services Associations of the Region of Murcia.
These projects are of economic support to families in a situation of social vulnerability with minors in charge, alternative leisure project for minors in a situation of vulnerability and support to vulnerable families with minors in charge, in situations of coexistence.
In the first case, 20,500 euros have been granted for a project that aims to support the coverage of basic needs of families in situations of social vulnerability, severe material deprivation or risk of poverty, with minors in charge.
The second involves an aid of 15,113.52 euros for the channeling of minors to leisure and conciliation resources existing in the municipality (covering the expense of the activity itself and transport) and creation of alternative leisure spaces.
Finally, 24,829.33 euros have been granted to develop a project aimed at families that present situations of conflict in the living environment that are negatively impacting among their members, generating serious difficulties in their internal relationships, especially in minors.
