The Secretary of State for Equality has awarded a grant of 21,695.99 euros to the Department of Women and Equality of the City of Totana for the development of actions aimed at the fight against Gender Violence in 2019.
This subsidy is part of the resolution of transfers of the aforementioned Secretary of State to develop new powers reserved for local entities in the State Pact against Gender Violence for said exercise.
These actions must ensure the establishment of projects or programs that allow intervention from the field of awareness and prevention, acting in the educational stages by conducting workshops to eliminate sexist, sexist and violent behaviors.
In addition, it advocates promoting and promoting emotional education and equality, and therefore, the need to carry out prevention and awareness campaigns on gender violence with unitary messages, positive and adapted to the needs and involving society in as a whole
