He hired micro-credits supplanting the identity of other people
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to clarify several scams in the fraudulent contracting of micro-credits, which has resulted in the arrest of a person as the alleged author of the crimes of usurpation of marital status, documentary falsehood and fraud.
The investigation began last June, when several citizens denounced the usurpation of their identity for contracting small loans to different financial entities.
The injured parties, oblivious to these contracts, had been included in delinquent files because they had not paid the fees.
The Benemérita, after making the corresponding inquiries, detected certain coincidences in the illicit investigated, such as that all the loans had been requested online, and that, once granted by the entity, the petitioner had not paid the corresponding monthly payments. .
The Civil Guard directed the investigation towards a neighbor of Totana, with a history of similar crimes, which was suspected of being behind these scams.
The investigators obtained the necessary documentation, which allowed them to find out that the suspect had apparently used the identity of third parties to, through deception, falsification of documents and usurpation of their marital status;
take small amounts of money through micro-credits requested from different financial companies dedicated to granting loans online.
The injured parties, in the name of those who requested the micro-credits, knew of their inclusion in delinquent files when they tried to hire other financial products.
The investigation has culminated in the arrest of a 35-year-old male, Spanish and neighbor of Totana as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of usurpation of marital status, documentary falsehood and fraud.
In the last year, the suspect has been arrested up to eight times for the alleged authorship of crimes of the same nature.
The arrested and the proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Lorca (Murcia).
