The non-profit interest in publicizing good practices on an emerging strategy in the world of education was the main incentive that led totanero Pedro Antonio García Tudela to coordinate and publish his first book, as he tells Totana.com.
This deals with the educational escape rooms or educational escape rooms at a Primary level.
The work is composed of a first introductory-theoretical chapter that presents the basis of the escape room and the possibility of adaptation to the school environment.
Next, Mamen Navarro, José Antonio Gil, Berta Monteagudo and Pedro Antonio García explain in detail the design of each of their educational escape rooms.
The prologue of the book corresponds to the illustrious teacher José Dulac.
On the other hand, the design is original from another totanero, Sergio Mora Riquelme.
At first, the book was sold physically and at a cost price (€ 6) both in Spain and in other countries, thus depleting the two published editions.
Then, after the constant demand for copies, it is decided to publish it in digital version and with free download to favor maximum reach and thus motivate teachers and families to develop an educational escape room.
Currently and after 7 months, "escape and learn" has been downloaded 10,422 times since it was published digitally on February 15, 2019.
