The new sports center of CEIP "San José" will be operational from this 2019/2020 school year, after the works of covering and lateral enclosure of said infrastructure that have finished this summer, with a budget of 180,307.35 euros.
The actions have been executed by the commercial "Servimar 2008, SL", with headquarters in Totana, and have included the placement of the new synthetic rubber pavement that replaces the previous cement that existed previously.
A total of 10 construction companies were submitted to the tender procedure, corresponding to the Works and Services Plan for 2018;
and this project also includes improvements valued at 30,250 euros.
Within the framework of this program, the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration and the City Council of Totana are materializing this action and will also undertake the rehabilitation of the "Ginés Rosa" Theater of the "La Cárcel" Sociocultural Center for the 2018/2019 annuities , since they were the projects most supported by the neighbors in the telematic public consultation held last March and April.
The total budget for both annuities amounted to almost 460,000 euros, of which 430,000 euros are financed by the Autonomous Community, under a grant of 215,000 euros in 2018 and another for the same amount in 2019;
and the remaining 22,500 euros are provided by the Consistory totanero.
The Works and Services Plan 2018/2019 has a multiannual nature, covering the commitment of the Autonomous Community for an amount corresponding to the two annuities, which will allow the possibility of reuse of the remnants generated.
