The State Agency of Meteorology (Aemet) raised this Friday to orange the level of warning, which means significant risk, by high temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius this Saturday in the Vega del Segura and by storms in the regions of the Altiplano and the Northwest.
The warning for temperatures of up to 40ºC this Saturday will be active in the Vega del Segura from 12.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m., with a probability ranging between 40 and 70 percent.
For its part, the storm warning will be active in the Altiplano and Northwest regions from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a probability ranging between 40 and 70 percent.
In this case, very strong gusts are expected in the storm zone as the most significant phenomenon.
Also, the Aemet activated the yellow warning, which means risk, by gusts of wind of up to 80 kilometers per hour in the Altiplano and Northwest regions from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, mainly in the storm zones.
On the other hand, it keeps the yellow warning for high temperatures of up to 39ºC in the regions of the Altiplano, Northwest, Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Ãguilas.
This notice will be active from 12.00 to 9.00 pm, with a probability ranging between 40 and 70 percent.
On Sunday, the warning for high temperatures of up to 39ºC will be active in the Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca, Ãguilas and Vega del Segura from 12:00 to 21:00, with a probability ranging between 40 and 70 percent.
