The president of the Collective "No te Prives", Jesus Costa Gomez, delivered last Friday, in a symbolic way, the rainbow flag to the representatives of the company Ginés Sola Orgánicos, SL, based in Los Cantareros, for their support to the collective on the occasion of the International LGBTI Pride Day.
The event was held in the Plaza Balsa Vieja and was attended by numerous corporate municipal groups of Ganar Totana-IU and PSOE, respectively, as well as the new deputy Magdalena Sánchez Blesa.
Councilors and councilors of the City of Totana read an institutional manifesto.
The gesture came to recognize the support that the company had given during this week to the collective with the placement of stickers in their fleet of trucks and physical spaces in support of the rights of the LGTBI Collective, with the invaluable help and encouragement of the Association of Rural Women of El Raiguero, included in the Municipal Council of Equality of Totana.
With this tool came to enhance the image of equality and support for this group in rural areas, in which this women's association works.
This initiative served to conclude the events scheduled by the Department of Women and Equality of the City of Totana on the occasion of the LGBTI Week for Respect and Equality, which was held last week, with the collaboration of the Municipal Council of Equality that brings together the associations and groups of women of the municipality.
The program began with the placement of the LGTBI Pride flag on the Balcón del Ayuntamiento de Totana, as it has been happening in recent years;
and there was also the talk "Education and Diversity in the classrooms" by the Colectivo "No te prives" and the screening of the movie "Con amor Simón" at the Martin's Cafeteria.
