The festivities of the Totona de Lébor in honor of San Pedro are held this weekend from June 28 to 30, organized by the Neighborhood Association and the Neighborhood Youth Association of Lebor (Juevele), with the collaboration of the Department of Celebrations.
The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the acting mayoress, Conchi Blázquez, presented the program of festivities for this parish that will take place in the fairground located next to the hermitage.
The program kicks off on Friday, June 28 with the opening of the festivities through the firing of rockets and the inauguration of the chiringuito of the Brotherhood of Denial and Exaltation of the Cross.
At 9:00 pm it will be the opening of the playground and the performance of the Mari Loli Dance School;
at 10:30 p.m., the performance of the group "FYVBand" will be held;
and from 00:30 hours, the Fried Egg Contest, in which the Commission will distribute the eggs, oil and firewood.
On Saturday, June 29, at 6:00 pm, the VIII Motera Snack will take place, organized by Juvele, in which snacks and beer will be distributed to the attendees;
with the musical performance DJ Requena and go-go.
On the same day, at 18:15, the Auction, Brisca and Domino Contest will be held.
At night, there will be musical performances, at 10:30 pm, from "Aires de Veleta", and from midnight, "The Tracks".
At 4:00 am, churros with chocolate will be offered to all attendees.
On Sunday, June 30, at 12:00 noon, it will be the Foam Festival;
and at 4:00 p.m., the Dessert Contest, organized by the Association of Housewives.
In the afternoon, there will be religious ceremonies in honor of the patron Saint Peter.
At 20:00, a solemn Mass with the performance of Los Romeros de Lébor;
and at 21:00 hours, procession through the streets of the hamlet, with the band of cornets and drums of the Brotherhood of La Negation and Exaltation of La Cruz de Totana.
At 22:00 hours the performance of the School of Music of Geni will take place in the hermitage of Lébor;
at 22:30 hours, the Tamara Hernández Step-by-Step Dance School;
and at 11pm, the festivities with the traditional fireworks castle will end.
