The Adult Education Center of Bajo Guadalentín, which brings together the provision of this public service in the municipalities of Totana, Alhama de Murcia and Librilla, has closed this week the 2018/2019 academic year.
The event was attended by the mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, in an event that was held at the Center for the Third Age of Alhama de Murcia.
All students who have passed the training of the various workshops of the Adult Education Center of Bajo Guadalentín have collected their diplomas, whose graduation has also served to reward and recognize the effort of the students.
The mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Mariola Guevara, and Librilla, Francisco Rubio, respectively;
as well as the director of the center, Francisco Vicente.
The councilors of the three municipalities reiterated the commitment of their respective municipalities to Adult Education, recognizing the important work carried out by the Center and promised to continue supporting the activities carried out, within the possibilities of each municipality.
The mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, stressed the "merit" of people who arrive at a certain age decide to resume their studies.
And he underlined the fact that many of the students of the Adult Center study "for the pleasure of knowing".
In his opinion, the training of adults "is a very important element of integration".
At the end of the interventions of the regidores, proceeded to the delivery of diplomas;
and several students intervened to thank the teachers for the work they do in the framework of this teaching.
The Adult Education Center of Bajo Guadalentín, based in the old "Juan de la Cierva" institute located on Avenida de Lorca, 62;
keeps open the registration period for the entire training offer for the academic year 2019/2020.
The Adult Education Center considers, once again, a wide and varied schedule adapted to the needs of the users;
as well as an educational offer with regulated education, which are those with which an academic degree of an official nature can be obtained;
and not regulated, referring to those courses that are useful to users for their training or even for their personal satisfaction.
