The Councilor for Development and Employment, Antonia Camacho, has recently inaugurated the course "Independent Living and Personal Assistant";
a training action that takes place in the Local Development Center, and is organized over three weeks, from Monday to Thursday, in the afternoon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The course, in which around twenty people participate, is organized by the State Association of People and Caregivers in the Rural Environment Intergenerational Solidarity, in collaboration with the City of Totana;
and will have a total duration of 60 hours.
This hourly calculation will be justified in a diploma that the last day of the course will be delivered to the students who successfully complete it;
which will be valid for presentation and scoring in the different job boards that are being convened.
With this action, it is intended to train both non-professional caregivers of dependent people, as well as any other person who intends to direct their professional life in this sector with the purpose that, upon completion of their learning, they are prepared to develop this work and they can have an adequate preparation in line with job offers related to the field of dependency and disability.
In addition, it is reported from this Department that, soon, will begin the course of Auxiliary Operations of General and Administrative Services for the unemployed, a Workshop on Social Networks promoted by the Autonomous Community (CECARM), a course of Basic Phytosanitary and a course of Wine tasting.
