Totana City Council has agreed, unanimously, to grant the 25th Anniversary Recognition Title to the Air Surveillance Squadron number 13 and Aerial Esquerra of Sierra Espuña, as approved by the corporations in the last plenary session in April at the proposal of the Mayor's Office and following the procedure established by the Honors and Distinctions Regulations.
In this file, which began last April 5 by resolution of the Mayor's Office, there are eight accessions within the established period of different entities and groups of the municipality.
This award is expected to be delivered to the commanding chief of the air combat command of EVA-13, Juan Carlos Giz Paz, next May 10 during an institutional ceremony that the Air Force will celebrate on the occasion of this anniversary in the barracks. of the Morrón de Espuña.
Precisely, the Aerial Surveillance Squadron number 13 has organized an exhibition in the municipal room "Gregorio Cebrián" of Totana that reviews the 25 years of history of this unit in the Sierra de Espuña, and was inaugurated last Tuesday, April 30.
It has also been published by the Ministry of Defense a historical manual that includes the activity developed by the EVA-13 since its inception to the present.
