The general director of the Foundation of the Cameral Institute for the Creation and Development of the Company (INCYDE), Javier Collado, has signed collaboration agreements with the municipalities of Archena, Cehegín, Puerto Lumbreras and Totana, so that municipal entities receive the amount resulting from the increase in the co-financing rate of projects for the creation of business incubators, executed within the ERDF operative program 2007-2013.
In this way, the financing of their Business Income through FEDER Funds goes from 80 percent initially planned to the total amount spent, which is more than 175,000 euros for all the beneficiary municipalities.
These four municipalities built Business Incubators in their respective municipalities during the 2007-2013 period, initially contributing 20 percent of the investment cost.
In the act, Totana has been represented by its mayor, Andrés García Cánovas, who has valued very positively this management that comes to contribute in the consolidation of this infrastructure, started this legislature, in this emunicpio.
Now, and as a result of the efforts made by INCYDE before the European Commission, the increase in ERDF support for these projects has been approved up to one hundred percent.
Consequently, INCYDE will reimburse municipalities a total of 59,799.68 euros (Archena), 20,478.14 euros (Cehegín), 52,744.68 euros (Puerto Lumbreras) and 42,230.11 euros (Totana).
At the signing ceremony, Miguel López Abad, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia, highlighted the work that the INCYDE Foundation does to boost business innovation through the largest network of nurseries in Europe, centers where models are promoted advanced incubation and acceleration of micropymes.
Likewise, he recalled that during this year INCYDE and the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia are planning the development of three training programs on self-employment and business consolidation.
