The Department of Youth and the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" have concluded with great success the Service of Conciliation of Private and Family Life, which was held during the Holy Week holiday period in the CEIP La Cruz, and in the that 30 users have participated.
This action was aimed at children from 3 to 12 years of age, enrolled in Early Childhood and Primary Education centers;
with schedules adapted to the labor needs of the area;
and it was proposed with the objective of becoming a clear support for working families, especially for those people within the group of temporary workers.
In addition, this initiative was promoted, taking into account that these families, temporary workers, present, if possible, even more difficult to find alternatives to reconcile work and family life, due precisely to this situation of instability in their jobs .
Many of these workers have minors under their care and, therefore, they need resources to be able to reconcile work and family life during the periods in which the minors do not have a school and these people continue to work, such as school vacation periods. Easter, Christmas and summer vacations.
During these days, the contents that have been worked on at the Easter School have been diverse, such as education for health and physical activity, popular games, audiovisual communication and ICT, sustainable development and the environment, among others.
Similarly, participants have developed activities to promote creativity, education in values, emotional intelligence, education for diversity and equal opportunities, coexistence and relationship in community, entrepreneurial spirit, reading comprehension and knowledge about the theme of the Week. Likewise, they have been able to perform countless activities such as pottery workshop, visit Centro Deportivo Move, popular games, gymkanas, visits Brotherhood, storytellers, tamborada, mandalas workshop, play at the kids' voice, visit El Candil garden, among others.
The service has taken place in a playful and fun environment for children, allowing them to address aspects such as education in values, healthy habits, acquisition of hygienic habits, interculturality, equal opportunities, and so on.
