The Municipal Service of School Absenteeism of the Department of Education of the City of Totana has begun this week a round of talks on control, prevention and monitoring aimed at sixth grade students of Primary Education and parents of Secondary School with the aim of raising awareness and prevention about the importance of class attendance.
According to sources of this Council, they plan to offer a total of nine talks in the different educational centers of Primary and Secondary School of Totana;
in such a way, that more than 200 students will receive training on causes, consequences and orientations for their next incorporation to Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO).
In addition, in parallel to this, a sociofamily intervention is being implemented with more than 40 families in coordination with the educational centers, the Department of Education, psychopedagogical team and Local Police.
