From the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" are carrying out various activities during the month of March, which will address equal opportunities and gender perspective to sensitize the participants of the projects of the entity, to to fight like this for a fairer world in which men and women are equal.
Children, young people and adults will benefit from these activities, participating in awareness-raising activities aimed at raising awareness about gender equality.
From the "Program of Socio-educational Intervention with Families and Minors in Situation of Social Disadvantage in the Region of Bajo Guadalentín", the visualization and debate of the animated film "Vaiana" has been carried out, in which different messages are transmitted that help us to promote gender equality in boys and girls.
This Program, which develops school support activities and educational leisure with children, is subsidized by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia through the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities.
Likewise, participants of the Program "Labor: A step towards employability", received in the multi-purpose classroom of Participación Ciudadana C / Menorca nº23, a training talk by the techniques of the Center of Specialized Care for Women Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI) of the municipality of Totana.
In it, they were able to reflect through videos, dynamics and participatory activities on the importance of gender equality and perspective of opportunities in today's society.
This project is financed 80% by the European Social Fund and 20% by the Murciano Institute of Social Action.
Within the "Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee" Program, the aim is to sensitize young participants about gender equality and opportunities to prevent situations of violence, for which two workshops of Gender Equality and Equal Opportunity of 8 hours will be held. duration each.
They will take place at the Local Social of San Roque and will take place between March 18 and 22.
This project is financed by the European Social Fund within the framework of the Operative Youth Employment Program and by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
Participants of the "Professional Training Program of Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries and Gardens", held a workshop called "The ideal couple", with the screening of the short "Awake", then made an analysis and discussion.
This training program is subsidized by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia through the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and is taught at the San Roque Neighborhood Social Center.
