The PP denounces that Juan José Cánovas lies in claiming the merit of the construction of the pool of the Hotel de La Santa

"The spokesman of IU-Ganar Totana confirms its mismanagement in the contract of the Hotel de la Santa and the Rural Houses and that of his government team "

Juan José Cánovas lies, as he is accustomed and tries to confuse the neighbors in reference to the Santa's contract, the spokesman of IU-Ganar Totana has recently made demonstrations after the press conference held by our Councilman Félix Cayuela, in relation to the possible partial rescission of the lease contract of the Hotel de la Santa and Casas Rurales because the latter are without an activity license and impossible to live due to their neglect and deterioration.

After the statements made by our councilman, Félix Cayuela, the IU spokesman returns to the forefront getting involved to claim merits and try again to confuse the neighbors.

The Spokesman of IU, in his speech expressly stated the following: that these houses are without a Municipal license, an issue that denied the Government Team and himself repeatedly.

There have been many occasions in which the PP Councilor, Felix Cayuela, has asked in the plenary where this issue was discussed, if in this new tender of the lease of the Hotel and the houses, the latter had all the relevant licenses, answering the Government team that there was no impediment for its implementation.

As suspected by the PP during all this time, Juan José Cánovas confirms in his speech that the Santa's rural houses are not licensed and his condition is deplorable, (a question that does not explain in his speech why this state and who is the responsibility).

Despite the insistence of the Popular Party, the Team of the pact of chairs and payroll did not move a finger until the request of the lessee to rescind part of the contract and a claim for compensation amounting to 100,000 euros for breach by this Team of Government of the contract in question.

The Spokesman of IU-Win Totana publicly denounces again that he and the other councilors of his group "do not participate in the resolution of this problem, since it is something that is in the hands of the Mayor, councilor of hiring and town planning, and they do not ", although we must remind them that they are part of the Government Team and can not be exempted from their responsibilities since in the process of elaboration and in several tenders of this contract, we must remind Mr.

Juan José Cánovas occupied the seat of Mayor.

All this demonstrates once again the bad or nonexistent relations between this team of two-headed government and the lack of communication between the councilors that form it, which gives rise to the fact that the great victim is not other than the People of Totana, as example of these bad relationships we find a PGMO, which is dead way by the continuous stones put in the way by the PSOE, when both PP, IU voted in this legislature in favor of it.

Said IU spokesman also stands as "great getter" of the construction of the pool in the vicinity of the hotel, a question that is not true because, another lie of Juan José Canovas.

In order to proceed with this construction, it was first of all necessary to resolve the previous contract and to carry out a new tender, change the conditions and designate the location of the pool.

As we said, this contract was terminated by mutual agreement in the 2011-2015 term, since the impossible realization, in the location that was projected, by the PSOE and IU, of the construction of the pool, SPA-Balneotherapy whose valuation agreed by Martínez Baños and Mr. Cánovas, amounted to € 900,000.

The construction of the pool made a few months ago, is located in the place left for that purpose the PP in the previous term, issue that neither says nor recognizes the spokesman of IU, Juan José Cánovas, but quite the contrary, when attributed, as in it is usual, the execution of the project.

Proof of this is the attached document of 2014 made by the Municipal Architect D. David Bercedo and requested by the then councilor of alternative energies, transport and taxi, Felix Cayuela.

In short, the statements made by the spokesman of IU, Juan José Cánovas, are inaccurate, not to say a lie, and their only objective is to confuse and adjudicate once more, a merit that does not correspond to them.

Mr. Cánovas, stop lying and assume your responsibility, which is great in the Santa's contract, both in the one made in 2002, which has caused so much damage to Totana and in the current one, by allowing her to silence something that today expressly recognizes and is the lack of licenses of rural houses as the preliminary draft of the pool is something left by the PP.
