The City of Totana has signed a new contract for the assignment of an office, with an area of ​​12.67 square meters, of the Business Incubator the totanera "La Flor del Guadalentín, SL", which will be in charge of the marketing of sweet paprika , above all, through the internet.
The mayor, Andrés García, and the first deputy mayor and councilor for Economic Development and Industry, Juan José Cánovas, were in the act of signing the agreement to transfer the facilities for a renewable year, which allows all the spaces of this infrastructure occupied.
The local company, whose head Juan Sánchez Sáez, was on the spot, is made up of pepper farmers in Totana and its region, who have come together to transform the ball pepper from its cultivation to the commercialization in paprika with the name "Flor of the Guadalentín ".
This is a very interesting project that aims to consolidate the cultivation of pepper for paprika in Bajo Guadalentín;
and promote it as a product of unique quality, from a sustainable concept, generating employment and promoting the quality of agricultural products in the area.
The cession corresponds to office number 4 of the Municipal Business Incubator, co-financed by FEDER funds at 80 percent and which was put into operation with great success at the beginning of this term.
This building has six naves, two of 200 square meters and four of 110 square meters, 5 offices of between 12 and 15 square meters each and four rooms, one of them commonly used coworking and three to locate several jobs each.
All these premises are suitable for use and are equipped with basic services for the start-up of entrepreneurial business projects, as is the case today.
