The Department of Services to the City, Works and Infrastructure of the City of Totana continues during these weeks undertook repair works on the roads made by cobblestones in different streets of the historic city center in order to improve the traffic of pedestrians and vehicles, and also avoiding noise disturbances to the neighbors.
During these days, the works are centered on Alférez Crespo Street, although they have already been carried out months ago on the Santiago tracks, next to the side of the parish of Santiago and Macario;
and it is planned to act in others such as Gómez Pellicer and Vidal Abarca, as reported by its owner, Víctor Balsas.
These projects allow actions for improvement and refurbishment in numerous public spaces and infrastructures of general interest within the framework of the Regional Employment Councils 2018/2019 in this municipality.
The councilman Víctor Balsas announced that they will repair more than 800 square meters of cobblestone in different downtown streets of the urban center of Totana;
whose actions are very demanded by residents and residents.
This program deals with an important budget allocation offered by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security at the disposal of local corporations to promote rural employment in periods of time when the primary sector does not absorb labor.
According to the councilor of the branch, Víctor Balsas, the municipality of Totana had for this call with a budget of approximately 377,521.80 euros, about 19,000 euros more than the previous year, to hire a total of 116 unemployed people, especially pawns agricultural, to combat unemployment in the agricultural sector.
The actions planned to develop the Consistory totanero under this project include the cleaning and conditioning of a total of 27 rural roads in the municipality spread throughout the term, in all districts, and that will allow the settlement of about 33.5 kilometers , in two phases, in which 46 people will be hired in each of them.
A total of 1,298 casual workers from depressed rural areas of the Region of Murcia benefit from the subsidy of 4,758,432.61 euros approved by the Regional Monitoring Commission of the Agrarian Employment Promotion program after studying the 45 reports, eight more than in 2017, presented by the 22 municipalities included in a plan financed entirely by the Public Employment Service of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security.
