The Councilor of the PP, Félix Cayuela, has denounced in a press conference the refusal of the Government Team to explain to the totaneros the state in which is the Contract of lease of the Hotel and the rural houses of Santa.
The Popular Party presented a motion for the Government Team, as guarantor and custodian of the Contract subscribed in its day by the Mercantil Hoteles de Murcia SA and this City Council, to give an explanation to the citizens in the Plenary of February on the situation in which is the Rural Houses of Santa.
As well as, that the City as owner-landlord, urge the company awarded the lease contract of the Hotel Santa and Casas Rurales, to make effective the exploitation of them, in compliance with the contract signed on September 11 of 2017.
This motion, presented by the Popular Party, was voted against in the informative commissions last Thursday, February 21, previous step to the motions that will be seen in plenary on February 28, by PSOE and IU-Ganar Totana .
Felix Cayuela has denounced the lack of transparency and opacity that reigns in the Government Team, in addition to his internal raids only harm the people of Totana.
Cayuela de Pablo, has explained;
On September 11, 2017, the City Council signed with the merchant HOTELES DE MURCIA SA, Lease Agreement whose purpose was the exploitation of the Hotel and Rural Houses of Santa, as specified in the second point of the contract.
To date, more than a year has passed, the exploitation is carried out on the Hotel, without the exploitation of the Rural Houses, has been carried out, these objects being also the contract and being demanded by a large number of people, In addition to that they are in a state of neglect and ruin and no response is given by this City Council of what is happening in this regard.
The Popular Councilman has asked at a press conference, how many times this councilman has manifested his uncertainty for the licenses of the rural houses, to which the Government Team has not answered or simply said that there was no problem.
The problem is that now the company has requested the partial rescission of the contract due to the impossibility of operating the rural houses and request compensation from the City Council of € 100,000.
Félix Cayuela has requested that this Government Team have to explain to the totaneros what will happen with this contract, whose responsibility it is and what solution they have foreseen, this is what the PP had requested in full, but the lack of transparency, the obscurantism of this Team is going to make the totaneros not know anything about the matter in question.
We are seeing with this action of the municipal government, the lack of transparency about its daily management as it is the case that concerns us this morning, but also in many other files that are kept and kept quiet in the drawers without giving information to the people of Totana as they are :
State of the Marcos Ortiz municipal park bar, contract of the bar of the sports center, the RPT, the inventory of goods of the City Council and a long etc.
From the PP we say again that the Government Team again pass their "roller" (which have been criticized in other legislatures) to leave the totaneros without information of their daily management.
