The Christmas and Kings program, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Totana with the invaluable collaboration of associations, entities and groups of the municipality, this year includes a total of 28 activities that will be developed from next December 14 to the January 6th.
The councilor of the branch, Eulalia Moreno, has presented the program of activities, which is entitled "Live Christmas", and which starts this weekend with the 7th Christmas Fair and the Gift of the Avenida de Lorca, organized by the Association of Merchants in this area;
and the inauguration of the Municipal Bethlehem "Belenista Art Exhibition" next Saturday (7:00 pm).
On Saturday, December 15 will also be held the Christmas Workshop of Percussion in Family organized by the Musical Group of Totana, whose activity and registration are made in the School of Music, in the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel".
The program contemplates as usual several concerts and musical performances;
like the Christmas Concert (December 19), in the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel" by the School and Band of the Musical Group of Totana.
In addition, on Saturday December 22 will be the Mass of Christmas Carols sung by the Choir Santiago in the hermitage of San Roque, and the Christmas Carols Concert in the Church of Las Lomas de El Paretón, with the performance of the Band of the Friends of the Music of El Paretón.
On Sunday, December 23, the VII Christmas Choral Festival "Ciudad de Totana" will take place in the Convent of the Three Hail Marys, with the performance of the choirs "Coro Iubilate" of Murcia, "Coro Orpheus Música" of Murcia and the "Coral" Vox Musicalis "by Totana.
On Christmas Day, December 25, the Traditional Gang Meetings of San Antonio Street and Virgen del Pilar will be held;
as well as the Christmas Mass in the church of Santiago sung by the Santiago Choir.
Other musical activities will be on December 30, with the II Encounter of Easter Gangs in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, starting at 12 noon, an activity organized by the Department of Culture;
and on December 27, with the musical show "La Reina de las Nieves Musical Theater", at the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", from 6:00 p.m.-tickets can be purchased at the center with a price of 8 euros in advance and 10 euros at the box office-.
December 29 will be the Christmas Musical Tale "The Great Journey of Asniter", at the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", at 6 pm, written by Eduardo Monserrat and performed by the Symphonic Band "Las Musas" of Guadalupe, whose Tickets can be purchased previously at "La Cárcel", at the price of 5 euros.
In addition to the musical activities, there will be the activity of "Teatro Circo Azul Hermanos Segura", on Thursday, January 3, at the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", at 6:00 p.m., with a price of 3 euros. .
One more year, the III Christmas Showcase Contest will be held, whose awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 20, at the award-winning establishments - this year the number of prizes to be awarded has been increased to three.
The Royal Mailbox will also be held on Wednesday, December 19, and the selected children will be accompanying them as pages in the Three Kings' Parade on January 6th.
Other activities to be highlighted are those organized by the Municipal Library Mateo García: "Mornas de cuento" for children aged 6 to 9 (from December 26 to 28);
and the Tale with greater "Special Christmas" (January 2) -to participate in these activities is necessary prior registration in the library.
The program also contains several solidarity activities, such as on December 23, the "Toy Collection" at the door of the church of Santiago for the benefit of Cáritas, organized by Totana Basket;
on January 1, the "Collection of food and toys" in the Brotherhood of Jesus on Calvary and Holy Supper;
on January 5, the "VII Solidarity Breakfast" for the benefit of Cáritas at the Martin's Cafeteria;
and the "Collection of non-perishable food and personal hygiene" in favor of Jesus Abandoned, during the period of exposure of the Bethlehem of the Brotherhood of the Veronica, in its headquarters.
Another traditional activity of Christmas and which includes the program is the Visit to the Nativity Scenes.

And the icing on Christmas for children is the visit of Santa Claus and the Magi to be held on Saturday, December 22, in the Plaza Balsa Vieja, from 17:00, in the case of Dad Noel;
while the Magi, will do it on Friday, January 4, to collect letters from children in the municipal auditorium "Marcos Ortiz" from 16:30 hours.
On Saturday, January 5, the SSMM Cavalcade will begin at 7:00 p.m.
