The Local Government Board has approved the proposal of the councilor for Tourism, Inmaculada Blázquez, to approve the expenditure and recognize the obligation of 60,000 euros with the Commonwealth of Tourism Services of Sierra Espuña for the year 2018.
The Commonwealth of Tourist Services of Sierra Espuña is integrated by the municipalities that make up the regional park, and which are Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Mula, Librilla, Pliego and Totana.
The objectives of this entity are to join efforts and economic possibilities of the six associated municipalities that compose it for the provision of certain tourism services in the area of ​​Sierra Espuña and its area of ​​influence;
fundamentally, those related to the promotion of the image, and the tourist and natural resources.
Currently and until the end of this term, the president of the Commonwealth of Tourism Services of Sierra Espuña is the mayor of Totana, Andrés García, and the vice president, the councilor of Alhama de Murcia, Mariola Guevara.
