The Department of Sports of the City of Totana is carrying out this week the work of conditioning and replanting of the lawn of the municipal football stadium "Juan Cayuela" in order to make use in the best conditions of this facility until the end of this season.
The work of arrangement is being carried out by the company "Servicésped, SL", with registered office in Elche (Alicante), and will be completed by the end of this week, with a budget amounting to 7,661.50 euros.
The first actions that are being carried out since last Monday consist of the elimination of the grass and aerated land by punctured hollow in order to decompact the surface of the playing field.
Afterwards, we will proceed to the reseeding with winter grass, so that we will have to wait until the grass germinates between 10 and 12 days depending on the weather conditions to start the treatment of the new grass.
The care to make use, again, of the football field will last about 45 days, according to the technicians, so that until the second half of January you can not step on the lawn at full capacity, thus ensuring its maintenance until next summer .
