The Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" hosted last Saturday, November 17, the Local Stage of Table Tennis School Sports, organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Totana, with the collaboration of the Totana Table Tennis Club.
In the same, a total of 69 school children from the different schools of the town, belonging to the benjamín, alevín and infant categories in the equipment modality, participated.
The Santiago and Reina Sofía schools were finally proclaimed champions in the youngest and youngest categories respectively, while the IES Juan de la Cierva and the IES Prado Mayor did the same in the infantile categories for boys and girls.
The competition concluded with the delivery of trophies and medals to the first three teams classified in each of the categories, by the Town Planning Councilor of Totana, Carlos Ballester Méndez, and a representative of the Totana Table Tennis Club, Vicente Carreño.
In addition, the champion team of each category will have the opportunity to participate in the Regional South Table Tennis Table, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, which will take place on February 2, in Mazarrón.
