The mayor, Andrés García, and the councilor for Tourism, Inmaculada Blázquez, have presented a new service of Tourist Apartments "La Bastida", located in Héroe Bartolomé Cayuela Street in this town next to the Local Police Headquarters-, with the that the offer of accommodation to visitors in the city is extended.
During the presentation they were accompanied by the promoters of this initiative, which has already been running for a few months, María Sánchez Martínez and Jerónimo Martínez Serrano, who have realized the benefits of these new infrastructures, which are used by tourists who come to visit the emblematic places and places of interest of Totana, such as La Bastida and La Santa, among others.
In addition, the profile of visitors are people who want to know Sierra Espuña and the coast of Mazarrón, among other places near the municipality of Totana, as explained.
At present, the service consists of 10 tourist apartments, although soon it will be extended with two more, with the maximum comfort for two, four and six people each;
equipped with kitchen and household items, as well as all services.
The municipal authorities thanked these entrepreneurial entrepreneurs for the enhancement of these tourist service infrastructures to improve the quality of tourism in this town, diversifying this sector and the economy of the municipality.
